About the Funding Opportunity
On June 1, 2026, HUD released the FY2026 Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). Nationally the FY26 funding cycle has made $4,010,000,000 available for new and renewal projects.
The TPCH Continuum of Care Board, Lived Experience Council, and Collaborative Applicant are working together to create the FY2026 Funding Overview, Instructions, and Process for Tucson/Pima County. This document outlines the local process for agencies to apply for CoC funding. We anticipate that this will be released publicly in mid-June. The beginning of the local competition and other updates will all be posted here, and sent out through the TPCH email listserv linked above.
Preparation for the Local Competition
To prepare for this year's local competition, prospective applicants should familiarize themselves with the FY2026 Continuum of Care Competition and Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program Grants NOFO from HUD. The local process document will serve as additional information, but is not a replacement for understanding the federal guidance and priorities.
Also, ensure that you have access to the e-SNAPS portal where the federal application will be submitted. If you do not have access, and need to learn more, you can create a user profile, and learn more by reviewing resources provided by HUD.
Supportive services are an integral part of CoC project operations and budgets. We recommend leveraging other partners and funding sources to achieve a high level of supportive service offerings. For ideas on partnership services and local partners, review the Supportive Services Partners and Contact List in the Important Documents section below.
Key Dates
The Collaborative Application is due to HUD on August 26, 2026. Key dates for the local competition are TBD, and will be posted along with the local process document mid-June. We anticipate local partners having approximately one month to complete and submit applications.
