The TPCH Youth Action Committee and Homeless Youth Subcommittee teamed up with Our Family Services and local researchers and housing experts at LeCroy & Milligan Associates and OrgCode Consulting to conduct an in-depth assessment of the status of youth homelessness in Pima County. Â The research shows tremendous need for additional housing, particularly emergency shelter and rapid rehousing services designed for and targeted to youth, and lays out a multi-year plan to prevent and end youth homelessness in the region.
TPCH would like to thank Our Family Services for their leadership on this project and to acknowledge the dozens of local youth-serving organizations, education agencies, employment resources, health and behavioral healthcare providers, government entities, and community members who contributed to this effort. Â Most importantly, we wish to thank the extraordinary youth and young adults experiencing homelessness and housing instability who shared their experiences with us.
Together, we can end youth homelessness in Pima County.
