The Prevention and Stabilization Committee provides expertise and guidance to the CoC Board related to stabilization services, best practices, and homelessness prevention.

1. Strengthen collaboration among service providers, public agencies, and landlords through improved communication, planning, and joint problem-solving.

2. Engage landlords, create policies and pathways for shared housing and creative leasing models, and support the provision of incentives to increase access and prevent evictions.

3. Expand income and stabilization services, integrate health and behavioral health partnerships, and engage community health workers and treatment programs to support housing retention.

4. Collect and analyze data on program access, prioritization, and outcomes to inform funding decisions and strengthen system performance.

5. Enhance and expand community-wide services based on identified gaps and community need.
