City of Tucson Seeks Letters of Interest (Emergency Rental and Utility Assistance)

The City of Tucson has released a COVID-19 related Request for Letters of Interest from agencies currently contracting with the City of Tucson to provide supportive services to homeless persons.

Background

The City of Tucson is releasing this Request for Letters of Interest from eligible non-profits with capacity and experience operating eviction prevention programs.   Agencies must have the ability to guarantee payments to landlords and provide payments to landlords in a timely manner.  The City may issue a separate request for interest for the administration of mortgage assistance at a later date. This solicitation is solely for the purpose of providing rental and/or utility assistance.

Due Date & Submission

Interested agencies must submit the LOI documents to the City of Tucson by 12:00 pm, July 20, 2020 to  Jodie.Barnes@tucsonaz.gov.  Agencies responding to the RFI should provide a document on the agency’s letterhead responding to the questions and instructions provided in the Request for Letters of Interest.
